This 4th day should have been my day-off to visit Shanghai alone. I was supposed to come only 3 days in order to work on the installation project, but at the end because of a big disorganization, I had to realize the work at the very last moment !
Lots of pression and compromises, as well as very short times of reflexion to take decisions… but at the end, I’m very happy of the result, even if far away from the former project.
I ended up with an even more anthropomorphic object : naked, abused, mutilated, and where the bondage this time refers to more violent visions (humiliation, sequestration, torture, censorship, abuse, execution…).
This piece found a right echo with the actual politics in China.
